The Intro to Nursing & Healthcare course is hands on experiential learning course where students will explore a variety of career opportunities in the health care field with a focus on Nursing and other healthcare practitioners. Health care is one of the largest areas of diverse career opportunities and has showed continued growth and stability.
Careers are continuing to grow rapidly in all occupations and are expected to continue to grow as our population ages. As a Healthcare professional, students will enjoy occupations with more options and much better job security than in other professions. This course will help students explore exciting health care career paths. They will look at the different occupational options available and what requirements they will need to enter post secondary education.
The Miramichi course offering will be structured as follows:

Instruction Time: 2 hours
Class Size: 12-16 students per class
Time: 12:45pm - 2:45pm
