The Entrepreneurship and Business Planning course is dual credit course where students earn both NBCC credits and high school credits. The course follows a hands on project based learning model and offers students in class instruction combined with independent project work. Students will work with local and international businesses to solve problems. Students must also create a product or service available for sale by the end of the program. Students will present their work at a showcase event. This event will involve community members, students, teachers, parents and locals businesses. The purpose of this event is to foster entrepreneurship and engage students with society in a meaningful way. The event will also serve as a fundraiser to support the ASDN ICE Center.

Local and international business owners will be invited to join the class and engage with students in an effort to expose students to real world careers and experiences in the field of Business. Students will have the opportunity to participate in regular OASIS Program meetings and networking events.


Students who successfully complete this course will be awarded both credits from NBCC and from their respective high school!
